Siyabonga is a filmmaker based in Johannesburg whose skills range from directing, screenwriting, editing, videography and producing. 

In 2015, he wrote, co-produced and edited an experimental short film titled “Violins” which was nominated for “Best Original Soundtrack” at The Watersprite Film Festival in Cambridge UK. He also wrote and directed a short film titled “Muse” which was produced in collaboration with Blacknation Video Network and The Academy of Television and Screen Arts and has been nominated for Best Short Film at Rapidlions, Kleinkaap Short Film Festival and The Cape Town International Film Festival and Market.

Siyabonga has worked on a number of projects for clients such Blacknation Video Network, Mortimer Harvey, Ornico and Trace. As a content creator and entrepreneur, he believes that content is gold and his mission in life is to collaborate with the brightest and most creative minds to realise the true potential that lies in African storytelling.
